Hope Housing Foundation (HHF) acquired Cypress Cove Apartments in receiving a generous donation of the asset from the previous Owner. Recognizing as a perfect opportunity to perpetuate further the mission of positively affecting the lives of the community, HHF decided to purchase the property and turned Cypress Cove to one of the most effective multi-family affordable housing in Westwego, Jefferson Parish of Louisiana.
Cypress Cove Apartments consists of two phases. Cypress phase one has 218, and Cypress phase two consists of 234 units, in which the property features a beautiful mix with 84 one-bedroom, 248 two-bedroom, 136 three-bedroom units. With assistance from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Cypress Cove Apartments was constructed between 1973 and 1975. HHF entirely rehabilitated phase one in 2019 and continue the effort of renovating the whole property. The site measures approximately 27.14 park-like acres. Cypress Cove Apartments pasts 15 years of Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and serves as conventional multifamily with Post Tax Credit compliance monitoring.
